FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington, D.C. / JUNE 4, 2018 – The University of the Potomac announced today that it has added an online Full-Stack Software Development program available to students beginning June 25th.

The Full-Stack curriculum joins the University’s offering as software development expertise continues to see an increased demand in the workforce. The program features courses across a wide-range of subjects including coding, HTML, frameworks, database operations, programming, agile methodologies and web security ensuring students have both front end and backend knowledge, a key differentiator for Full-Stack certified professionals over others in the software and web development field.

“Full-Stack developers are among the most highly sought-after professionals today, and we are thrilled to be able to offer such a comprehensive and tailored curriculum to our students,” said Dr. Rick Murphee, President of The University of the Potomac. “Upon completing the program, students will be certified full-stack software developers giving them a strong advantage as they start their careers.”

The 12-week program will be conducted online but features all the benefits of an in-person curriculum including access to University resources, one-on-one interfacing with professors, career services and financial aid support. Upon completion, students will be ready to enter software and web development fields with titles including Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, Web Application Developer, Web Developer, and Software Developer.
